COMMUNITY AWARENESS FOR TRANSGENDER SUPPORT
A safe meeting space for Transgender support and allies. Our mission is to engage, empower, and educate by formulating community bonds across a global spectrum. CATS is a group of dedicated and devoted community advocates, and allies whose goal is to bring understanding, harmony, cohesiveness, and awareness to the Jacksonville community.

COMMUNITY ADVISORY BOARDS
Each Ryan White Provider office hosts a monthly Consumer Advisory Board (CAB) meeting for their clients. CAB meetings Engage, Connect and Assist patients to be involved in their healthcare, to help foster and educate clients with communication between themselves and their health providers. The CABs have long held the value of maintaining consumer involvement in service planning, implementation and evaluation.

COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS
Community Connections is a community group supported by the Florida Department of Health-Duval.  The community group consists of persons living with HIV/AIDS, and those whose lives have been affected by the disease. Community Connections members mission is to educate, advocate, support and empower all People Living with HIV/AIDS and Affected in Northeast  Florida communities.  The group is also a vocal planning body focused on raising awareness through “High Impact Prevention” strategies that lead to the overall goal of getting to zero HIV infections.

FIRST COAST COMMUNITY AIDS PREVENTION PARTNERSHIP
The First Coast Community AIDS Prevention Partnership (FCCAPP) is a community group supported by the Florida Department of Health in Duval County and Area 4 consisting of Duval, Baker, Nassau, Clay, and St. Johns counties.   FCCAPP is comprised of Community Advocates, Department of Health Staff, and representatives of agencies that provide HIV/AIDS prevention, treatment and care services.  Our primary function is to help prevent new infections in the Jacksonville Metropolitan area.

COMMUNITY ADVISORY BOARD
The mission of the Comprehensive Care Center (CCC) Community Advisory Board is to get patients involved in their health care, to foster better communication with their doctors, and to educate and provide information about HIV/AIDS services at CCC.

RYAN WHITE PART A/B HIV HEALTH SERVICES PLANNING COUNCIL
The Ryan White Part A/B HIV Health Planning Council gives people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA) can express their needs and have funds allocated to where health services are needed most. It is also where all Ryan White federally funded providers like the FDOH-Duval report their expenditures to meet these needs.

WORLD AIDS DAY COMMITTEE
The mission of the Northeast Florida World AIDS Day Committee is to remember those who have died and to recognize those who are infected with and affected by HIV/AIDS through education, outreach, services and information to individuals residing in Northeast Florida.
